Dear fellow Fort McMurrayites,
Today, following the election, I am filled with mixed emotions. While it may not have been the outcome we were hoping for, I am filled with gratitude and pride. With only a few days to campaign, we managed to make a significant impact, and for that, I thank each and every one of you who supported me throughout this journey.
I want to extend congratulations to Tany Yao and all the candidates who participated in this election. I know the hours and hard work you all put in to your campaigns, job well done! Although we may not have secured victory today, I firmly believe that our campaign has just begun. The issues we raised, the voices we amplified, and the conversations we initiated will not fade away. They will continue to resonate within the hearts and minds of Albertans, inspiring change and progress.
While I may not hold a seat in the Alberta Legislature, I promise you that I will remain steadfast in my commitment to serving the people of this province. I will continue to advocate for the issues that matter most to our communities, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that our voices are heard, even outside the walls of government.
Let us embark on this journey together, breaking free from the confines of the status quo. Let us teach our fellow Albertans that change is not found in blind party allegiance but in the wisdom of selecting individuals who will champion our interests and strive for the betterment of our province.
This defeat is not the end but rather a beginning on our path to a brighter future. Together we can make a difference, we will prove that grassroots movements have power, and that ordinary citizens can become catalysts for extraordinary change. Let us carry this spirit forward, united in our vision for a better Alberta,
